Salem Middle School Flash Flood - Salem, Indiana

Salem Middle School Flash Flood - Salem, Indiana

SERVPRO of Southwest Jefferson County was first on the scene of this horrific flash flood in Salem, Indiana.  Our owner, Jason Wilson, happened to be on the property at the time of the flood and went to work right away with the disaster recovery.  Our crews showed up quickly and in a matter of hours pumped thousands of gallons of water and cleared debris from the property.  The damage to the basement was severe since the water rose to completely fill the basement to the ceiling.  Our team extracted water, removed debris, cleaned up inches of mud, dried out the structure, and assisted with the construction to get the classrooms back into working condition before school started session.  The maintenance and school staff were extremely pleased with our efforts and were shocked with how smoothly the entire process went after the flood.
